General Anglium FAQ

How does it work, in simple terms?

You install the app/extension, log in, and enable your node. Traffic destined for Anglium clients goes through an internal VPN gateway and encrypted tunnels (e.g., WireGuard/WebSocket) and is isolated from your personal traffic (sandbox). The network uses AI to balance load and reward the most useful nodes.

What problem does Anglium solve?

Centralized VPN/proxy providers are expensive, censored in some regions, and lack rare geo IPs. Anglium creates a community‑powered, transparent, and scalable alternative with dynamic pricing and on‑chain governance.

When will the private test launch?

The private test will start after the first wave of NFT Node Pass sales is completed and verified participants are onboarded. The exact date will be announced in advance in Discord, Telegram, and on the official website.

When will the public launch happen?

The public launch will follow the successful completion of the private test and implementation of key improvements based on community feedback. The goal is to ensure stability, scalability, and security before opening the network to everyone.

What do I need to start?

A stable internet connection, a supported device (desktop/mobile/router/NAS), and an Anglium account (and Solana wallet if you want to use on‑chain features). Installation takes about 2 minutes.

How are rewards calculated?

Rewards depend on node utility: uptime, connection stability, speed, geo uniqueness/scarcity, and reputation. AI‑balancing prioritizes useful nodes; payments are distributed periodically and visible in the dashboard.

How much can I earn?

Earnings vary by region, speed, and uptime. Scarce regions earn more. There are no guaranteed returns; your dashboard shows real‑time metrics and projections.

Is it safe and private?

Yes. Anglium uses sandbox isolation, Zero Trust, TLS 1.3 encryption, and WireGuard/WebSocket tunnels. Node owners’ personal traffic is separated. Operational metrics may be hashed on‑chain, but personal data is not stored on‑chain.

Will Anglium slow down my internet?

The node uses a configurable share of your bandwidth. AI load balancing aims to avoid overloading and reroutes traffic if your device gets busy. You can pause or set limits.

Which devices and OS are supported?

Desktop (major OS), mobile apps, and lightweight builds for routers/NAS/IoT (where available). Check the install page in GitBook for current support.

Can I run multiple nodes or devices?

Yes. Limits may depend on network policy and your NFT tier (if applicable). Each node needs a stable, preferably unique IP.

What is the $ANG token used for?

$ANG powers the ecosystem: node rewards, paying for API/services, staking, DAO governance, and purchasing NFT Node Passes. Total supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 $ANG with deflationary mechanics (buyback/burn from fees).

Do I need to stake to earn?

Staking is optional but can boost rewards or trust level for nodes and validators. Delegation options may be available

What is NFT Node Pass and why only 150?

NFT Node Pass grants access to the closed test and early perks. Only 150 NFTs exist, released in waves for a fair start. Holding at least 1 NFT guarantees participation in the private test.

NFT price & tiers

Price: 20 USDC per NFT. Tiers: – 1+ NFT → Supporter (role access) – 5+ NFTs → Pro Supporter (+5% farming bonus) – 10+ NFTs → Core Supporter (+1 extra device) – 20+ NFTs → Elite Supporter (+10% farming + 1 extra device)

Is NFT required to use Anglium?

No. NFT is only for the closed test and early perks. After public launch, anyone can join without NFT.

What can businesses do with Anglium?

Access geo‑distributed proxy resources via SaaS/API for marketing, compliance, QA, price checks, availability testing, and research. Pricing is dynamic by region and capacity; billing can be in $ANG or fiat.

Compliance, legality & prohibited use

Anglium is designed with GDPR/CCPA alignment and anomaly detection. Illegal or abusive activities are prohibited. Regions may have additional restrictions; users are responsible for complying with local laws and ISP terms.

Will my IP be exposed publicly?

Clients interact through secure gateways and tunnels; personal IPs are not written to the blockchain. The system masks patterns and uses HTTPS‑like traffic to mitigate DPI.

How do I get help?

Check the GitBook “Getting Started” and “FAQ”, then reach out in Discord/Telegram support channels. For B2B/API queries, use the contact form or email listed in the docs.

When are payouts and in what currency?

Rewards accrue in $ANG and are settled on a periodic basis defined by the network. Your dashboard shows balances and claim options; some regions may require KYC/verification depending on local regulation.

When are payouts and in what currency?

Verify ownership in Discord (#nft-role-verification) to receive your role and closed‑test access. Keep the NFT in your wallet to retain perks.
