Consensus & Verification Nodes
Core Components of Anglium
Consensus & Verification Nodes are key nodes responsible for validating the integrity of the Anglium network, verifying transactions, and supporting decentralized governance. They ensure transparency, security, and stability across the ecosystem.
Core functions:
Node data verification: checking uptime, bandwidth, and other metrics submitted by Community Nodes and Traffic Aggregators.
Reward transaction validation: ensuring all node payouts are accurate and based on actual performance metrics.
Blockchain recording: storing metric and transaction hashes on Solana without retaining any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
DAO governance: executing smart contracts based on DAO votes and implementing network parameter changes.
Staking: holding $ANG in stake to maintain validator status and security commitment.
Node requirements:
High stability and continuous network connectivity.
Bandwidth and computational resources to process large volumes of transactions.
Minimum $ANG stake (defined by DAO).
Rewards:
A share of network fees.
Additional bonuses for maintaining high reputation and participating in critical verifications.
